Introducing DailyDad
Greetings,
I'll be brief because I'd rather post about Ender and Bean than myself. The idea for this blog and its name originally came when I had this idea to take a daily picture of the boys and then to make an app to view the photos. I finally finished the fist version of the app (at the top of the homepage) and have added early photos. I don't know if I'll really be able to keep up with daily photos, but I figure a few a week will do.
The blog was an after thought. My personal LiveJournal had grown so large that I didn't always feel comfortable writing about my children in it. I also always felt like I was writing for some strange perceived audience. I guess I just needed something more dedicated to my family bloggin. So I decided it was time to stretch my arms and see what else was out there. I'm using Blogger for now, which is nice, but there is some pressure to use other blogging tools.
I am a stay-at-home dad, but at the same time I do freelance web development and design to help pay the bills. This means I don't get to spend as much time with the little ones as I would like, but it sure does beat a full time gig.
So if you find yourself here, check out the app, read about the boys. I don't necessarily get into the trials of being a stay-at-home dad except when it applies to a particular story about the kids.
